Engine Trouble Again!

So in the begining of this year i had major problems with my Gentry motor, head gascet failed.

 

Now couple of months later, tonight, im afraid that the water system froze or it just lost water (i have had to fill the water tank regularally since the head gascet repair and now the water sensor bar didnt work for a month or two) and i didnt notice, so the my gentry over heated and started steaming out of the exhaust. Taking a second look at the problem it seems it starts to steam when the motor starts to get warm. Head gacet or the whole head? I dont know....but one things for sure, its maby about time to put anothere motor in my Gentry. If i can find anothere 1.9 original GTI motor here in iceland it would be awesome, if not i might have to contact some of you guys.

Any way, any sugests you guys have?

did you have the head skimmed last time it went?

It's still losing water even though you repaired the HG? you sure it wasn't a cracked liner?

 

May as well just put a known good 1.9 in, they're about £50!

I bet they're not quite so cheap in Reykjavic!!
