i can only seem to see people saying use the 2wd cossie or 525td one(E28/E34/E39/E60 - no ones says which model)

what have people used? and what makes more difference? or is there other ones to use, i have seen some of these universal ones, are they any good?

this is my first turbo conversion, saying that, its the first turbo car i've owned and worked on

Cheers Stu

most people run one that has a 90 degree input one end and a 90 degree output at the other. Even then you have to pipe it all around to the little throttle body in the middle. The Cosworth one is used as it is the right size to sit on top of a lowered rad and is readily available and is more than ample. There is no need for a house hold radiator hanging out of your front valance as it won't really give you a performance gain and will only induce turbo lag as it takes a while to pressurise.

Personally I use a Fiat Punto GT one on my turbo, but I am running the standard GTI plenum and bigger standard throttle body, so the pipe needs to come in at the side
