Bit confused by the question really. If you were looking to put a carbon bonnet on a Jag XK120 and paint a giant cock on it then i'm sure you would get some protests but it's just a UK spec rallye and it's not like its a non reversable process. Man the fack up and do it.

Yes, do it.

Where are you planning to get the bonnet from and for how much? Would you be interested in seeing if we could get a multi buy discount?

I'm going to say no, just put a white fibreglass bonnet on there looks more original and less japppppy! Then again what can I say I'm bastardising mine :o

You lack of Star Wars knowledge disturbs me, Han Solo wasn't made of carbon...he was incased in cabonite. Anyway we're all carbon based lifeforms

What price you think that would come in at?

I'm trying to price a fiberglass bonnet just now if I could get one for 100 then I could do it for roughly 270 and I could try and make fiberglass bonnets for a base to lower costs if I do it I will post pics up

I saw some of this on the roof of a Subaru at Curborough and it looked quite good. I think it would be the cheapest option and also allow it to be moulded around the contours of the bonnet

If this was on a yellow Rallye (as I am guessing from the original posters username) then it would look similar to Pug1Offs turbo

before the 3M appears, most so called "rice-boy" have to do it more expensively by putting an extra carbon fibre layer on top of their original bonnet.

the 3M is really a very good product for decorating or transform the look of a car.
