madspikes 41 1 Cars Posted November 2, 2010 At the last MOT the inspector strongly suggested that I change the steering rack due to excessive play - I think its more to do with him not liking the PAS rack non PAS'd.... I cant feel much play in the system and really I'm trying avoid changing the rack! So far the only play I;ve found is in the top steering column UJ. There is only slight play enough to feel and see it - but not enough measure. How much is too much play is too much? There well could be play else where in the system, but at the moment I can only feel this top joint being sloppy. Mad. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
