Another lucky bid on ebay, but not sure if this is a 6 or MI16. Help please.

Deffo not an MI16 and I am sure it is not a 6 either!

It was advertised as a GTi6 with 87k but not entirely sure if it is. Cam covers would help.

Didn't realise there were three pictures, looking at the others I'm almost certain it is a 206 GTI 138 engine.

I just googled it, it does look like it. The cutout on the pulley cover looks right as well.

I've done cambelts a couple of times and also a head gasket on one, there are a number of things I recognise. Hope you didn't pay over the odds.

certainly looks like an EW as mentioned, have also done a HG + timing belt on a 138 bhp version

As said EW10, had a couple and i have one now!
