Fuel Pump

My fuel pump does't work anymore,when I turn the key I cant hear it.And the voltage is OK.

 

So I was looking for pump but can't find nothing local.

 

My question is will some other type of fuel pump,from other car fit.

 

It's electric pump and is in the tank and the car is 205 1.9 gti,standard.

I suspected a dead fuel pump on my car, ordered a new one and had a go at testing the old one with two wires to a battery just before binning it and I was surprised to see that it worked. I did a rally and 1000 kms with it since. May be worth another check before getting a new one. Just use two direct wires from the battery to the pump, maybe the tachy relay is gone.

Well my thoughts were that in first place,but after checking the relay I was very sure that the pump is the problem.
