205 Gti With 106 Gti Engine?

I know if I'm going to do an engine swap then I really should put something worth while in it, but I have a working cammed 106 gti engine, I was just wondering how difficult it would be to get it to fit the 205? is it roughly in the right sort of place or would it need some major fabrication to get it in?

 

I've never read about anyone doing this so I'm assuming its impossible or very difficult.
