What Other Spec Of 205 Has The Same Speedo ?

I think i'll need another one because the rev counter is fooked, cheers.

Is it not a wiring or power problem?

Yes its the spring wire that links to the magnetic bit behind the rev arm, it springs round then goes through the plastic top cap to a wire and while i was soldering it because it was a little loose the spring wire snapped away from the plastic cap, i tried my best to rectify it with no luck. I think that is why the rev counter was originally intermittent because of this weak joint against the plastic cap where it looks like it got glued in when it was made.

 

I may need another one if the rec counter repairer's cant mend it...

Thanks, it seems like they are in more 205's than i thought they would be and if i cant get it repaired ill post a wanted add up.

Same as all base models and Rallye, not XS as that has a similar to a GTI.

Thanks, i have been searching the net and didnt find any around, although i was looking for the ph1 type.

 

That one looks like its the modern version but it is the same, im not sure if the wiring plugs would work the same & have the same fit though ?
