Sealing The Inner Wing

I've just finished painting my n/s wing ready to be fitted this weekend (Hopefully, James!) Just wondering if it is okay to leave the inner face of the panel with 4 coats of primer or whether it's worth slapping some underseal on or a tapcoat like the outside?

Hi i just replaced my o/s wing I undersealed mine then primer then my mate that was spraying also gave it a coat of paint. I just wanted as much protection as i could as it was a non peugeot wing.

Hmm, well I've already put a coat or 4 of primer down, so bit late for that! Will some of the cheapy paint on underseal be okay? Thinking somelike like paint on Tetrosyl Underseal, cheap from work!

Primer absorbs water, so best get a top coat on it to seal it!

Just finished, nothing to report but I don't think it's too bad for a first attempt!

what underseal did you use ? and do you not want to go over the log, the places where it bolts upto the car ?

 

as theyll be the first places to start rusing

I used Tetroseal Underbody Sealant because its a very good price from work. Didn't think about that bit but I'll do it tomorrow when I have some free time! thanks
