Ht Leads?

Recommended Posts

smithy

Tried a search but could not find any info

Put cylinder head back on today but do not know the Ht lead position on cap as they were missing when I bought car.

Can anyone advise what position on cap no1 is and if you class no1 as flywheel end or timing end?

Also if I line up timing marks on flywheel and the plate is that no1 firing?

Car is 1989 1.9gti.

Thanks
