But you've just put a slight slant on it there Tom. People seem to have more respect for something that has had a lot of time invested in it rather than a lot of money.

 

This guy may have worked his arse off to afford the fancy cars etc, but people don't see that usually. They just see someone flaunting their wealth. Whereas the guy next door may have been born with a silver spoon up his arse and never had to work, and consequently uses all his spare time to build an amzing car with his own bare hands, and everyone will think he's a hero!

The guy who won best collection on PH has the F40! one of the only Ferraris I would buy. I would never buy new cars though, old, classics from 50's - early 90's i think (TVR prob the lastest I would buy!) would never advertise the location and storage of them on a forum were loads of pikey scrots go on though!!
