205 Xs Fuel Pump

What type of fuel pump does a 1.4 xs have, electric or mechanical? Doing an engine swap to my 1.9 xu and wondered if i will need a red top facet to run the 45's, in the 309 i have the injection pump with pressure regulator.

They have a lift pump, mechanical type.

It's on the end of the cylinder head, between the distributor and the inlet manifold. Can't miss it, just follow the fuel pipe!!

When running an XU on carbs the Facet will probably be fine.

That's what i thought . Haven't really looked since buying it lol. Facet it is then.
