Brake Caliper Mounting Plates To Trailing Arm Casting Torque Values ?

Recommended Posts

After much blood, sweat, plusgas and whacking i have managed to get the stub axles out of my old beam to swap to a recon'd one the brake caliper mounting plates need to be swapped over aswell but i can't find any torque settings for re-fitting them can any one help

1. brake caliper mounting plates to trailing arm casting - 4 bolts

2. Actual brake caliper to mounting plate - 2 bolts

3. Big hub nut onto the stub axle to hold it all together

The brake caliper mounting plate and caliper too mounting plate bolts looked to have some sort of blue thread lock on, would it make sense to bit of low strength loctite when i refit?? or is the blue stuff a reusable non setting kind

apologies if some of the names are wrong, see photo to avoid any confusion

Thanks

1 = 27 lb ft

2 = 89 lb ft

3 = 159 lb ft

Some loctite on braking system component bolts is always a good idea IMO.
