Knocking Noise When Decelerating.

Hi all, obviously this can be a silly question but when I come of the accelerator with it still in gear something from the front end knocks. Its quite a loud thud. Is there anything particular on 205's that are prone to knocking? I've got 3month old BBM Grp N mounts if it makes any difference and its only just started doing this.

Single knock possibly the sound of the engine moving. I'll give it a look tomorrow.

I had a very similar problem in an old xs years ago.

 

Turned out to be the lower engine mount. Loads of play and the exhaust was knocking.

Id check the above, lower engine mount. But i had a problem in a saxo where when i accelterated and came off the power i heard a single knock, and it turned out to be a dogey driveshaft, the knocking was coming from the twist of the engine.
