Cherry Air Freshener

Recommended Posts

GLPoomobile

There was a topic on here some time ago, that has since done a disappearing act, singing the praises of a particular cherry scented car air freshener.

Now I could go out and buy any air freshener, but I do like to take the recomendations of people I trust, so since a few members on here were so taken by this particular product I'd like to make sure I get the same one. Does anyone remember the topic (perhaps you are one of those who bought one?), and can you confirm that it was the California Scents Coronado Cherry?

I am not sure about the topic, but I recently bought that air fresher and it smells like bubble gum. Quite nice and seems to be lasting well. It was also the cheapest type on eBay

Thanks Tesstuff

I didn't search for "cherry" as I expected there would be about 9 trillion results. I did however search +cherry +fresh and got nothing. I presume because it would only look for the words cherry and fresh, and not fresher, freshest, freshener etc. I'm still not good enough at advanced searching :D

I also used Google search but didn't get anything, becuase IIRC I actually searched for cherry air freshener, but in that topic it's referred to as freshner :D

If I'd had the initiative to search again after finding out from eBay that it's called coronado then I'd have found it straight away

Cheers though

Cherry gets fewer results as orange and pink takes the lions share of that type of search :)

Ha , i will now admit my first search was not a success due to the OP 'freshner' spelling

I posted the thread.

Mines still going strong and I love it!

Go for the fibre pad ones rather than the jelly as that needs re-hydrating - if the pads stop smelling enough just flip them over

Not to everyones taste (one of mates doesnt like it) but if you like cherry bakewells you wont be far wrong.

Can be a bit strong at first but stick it under a seat to take the edge off it :D

I've always used house air fresheners in the car, they're generally cheaper, can be gimmickless (which adds to the price) and are just/if not more, effective.

I currently have one of those glass things with jelly stuck to the side of it, I put it in yesterday after wet vaccing the car and it smells glorious, water that came out of the wet vac was black though!

I did my house with a rug doctor and used it on the pug before I returned it and the sand and s*it that came out of the interior was incredible. The water looked like it was mixed with coal dust

Well worth doing even for your lungs sake with cars of this age and i'm a smoker!

I do as well but they dont taste of cherry at all really, they mostly taste of icing and raspberry. Those fake bright red glass cherries things just taste of sugar.

If you knew that most people on here like it and recommend it, why did you want to look at the thread again ?

Pleb

I was asking if I was correct in my assumption that it was indeed the California Scents product that had been posted about before. And I only came to this conclusion after googling "cherry air freshener", clicking a link to eBay, and seeing California Scents Coronada Cherry fresheners for sale. "Eureka" I thought, "that sounds familiar", and thus this rathar banal topic appeared.

I didn't want to see the old topic for nostalgia's sake

EFA :D

Now I know why Surgie has such strange opinions about society - he keeps misreading all those Daily Mail articles
