Recently got another GTI, not terrible condition but equally it's never going to be a show car. I asked Andy if he'd have a go at it and I'm just gob smacked what the guy can do

Wow, you can even paint airboxes black with it too!

 

 

Nice job, makes such a difference, a clean engine bay.

 

The slam panel's a more sensible colour than standard too!

The colour varied during production, some were cream, some black, replacements were black.

About 5 hours mate. Good dose of hyperclean and stiff brush to loosen crud then rinse with water in a squirty bottle. Plenty of rags to wipe components down and VERY carefull use of powerwasher with elecs covered.

 

Next the air box was wire brushed and sprayed black along with windscreen wipers, engine components laquered and re assembled the next day

Yes great for this kind of thing if you have one esp if you have a habbit of flooding spark plugs

 

Good for drying out panel gaps before polishing too
