I would be interested in the answer to this - my 205 flattened the battery after a period doing nothing and no code for the radio!

Swapped it for another meantime but it would be good to know I could get it going again in the future.

I spent an age trying to remove one yesterday with no joy (didn't have the right stuff with me), looks like you beat me to it. I didn't break the windscreen though.

lol, was this from the silver 205 by any chance. i just burst the bottom of the dash with a screwdriver and it popped right out. . nothing really decent on anyof the 2 of the 205's in there.

I have heard some people have had some luck by googling the numbers that are on the back of the stereo to get the code.

I got a parcel shelf clip and some screws (woo hoo!!) and a few skint knuckles trying to get that feckin stereo out.

You're right though nothing of much use - funny I must have gone there 8 times looking for a parcel shelf with no joy, eventually got one, every time I've been since there's always at least one kicking about.

There was a 309 there too.

How much did they take off you for the stereo, if you don't mind me asking? :D

What absolute ball-ache that was to get out! (just took out my own) the wiring was pulled so tight that there was no point in taking it out with the removal keys because it wouldn't move a millimetre out of the hole it occupied! I had to try and give it some slack from the wiring in the passenger foot well, in the end I just cut the wiring to save me the bother!
