hey guys, i have a problem... :o

recently when I accelarate, I can feel the car slightly pull to the left, and as soon as i back off a bit on the pedal, it tends to go to the right... it makes no sense.. and at high speed it freaked me out once. could there be some slack in the actual steering?

i put the car in the air the other day, and for some reason only the shortest drive shaft moved when in gear( while still in the air) but then I blocked that wheel, and then the longest shaft started spinning.. am i making any sense here? could i have a faulty box? feels realy akward to drive..

ohh and i changed the rear brakes (pads and pistons) and now for some reason the pads are always rubbing, as if the car was breaking all the time.. im considering getting a new rear beam with discs, of wich more recent cars could i get one? saxo? 306?

please help, need to sort out the car a.s.a.p

:D

cheers

Bottom arm\wishbone bushes or the bottom balljoint where the arm meets the hub. The hub could also be ovalled.

Also check track rods and track rod end joints for play.

Saxo and 306 beams don't fit (not without major modification) Only 205 or 309 one are a straight fit.

Just FYI, when its jacked only one wheel will spin; thats perfectly normal. It will deliver the power to the one with least resistance which is usually teh shorter shaft; which is why the other only started to spin when you blocked the other wheel.....unless you have an lsd.
