driversdomainuk 8 Posted September 27, 2010 Hi I am planning to totally remove my dash, all the parts, speedo, rev counter, everything, so it will just be the bulk head showing - the car will remain road legal. I will need the storks, indicators, lights etc but nothing else. I plan to get a seperate speedo and rev counter, but thats it. Also wants to get a loom off a basic 205 as there is so many wires I no longer need.... Has anyone else done this? I know lots do it on non road legal track cars, but can this successfully be done on a road car (and pass an MOT!) thanks Rob Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you really want to remove it though, you're going to need indicator and headlamp tell-tales, and you should definitely fit oil pressure and coolant temp warning lights at the very least. I have no understanding or experience of auto electrics....so would you think it is safe if I remove the dash without messing with any of the wires....could this be done????? Looks awesome by the way, and has given me silly ideas. I've only kept the top half of my dash as it's handy for the cubby hole above the fuseboard. But with harness' on, you can't reach it anyway!
