1.6 Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement

Recommended Posts

The bearing kit came with a rubber seal and pressed steel cup, but I can't see where this should fit.

Can anyone help? Or is this surplus?

Cheers

If its the type I am thinking of, the rubber seal goes on first, the old one will most likely still be there on the stub axle.

The pressed steel cup should fit into the drum as the last thing to go on, but often they are supplied the wrong size in my experience.

Thanks for this but you are talking about the cap and I am talking about a pressed steel ring. Any thoughts?

The steel ring is pressed into the drum the other side to the grease cap.
