Uk 205 Rallyes, How Many Are Left!?

I fitted GTI arches and rear bumper to my old XS and every one thought it was a GTI even the police. so they do fit just need triming down on the lipp that fits under the GTI arches.

Also when i bought my rallye it had gti trims fitted(not genuine) but got ripped off the day i got it.

Dont know about any one else but im a lover of all 205s

 

agree with that, all the way down to my 156000 mile 5 dr diesel style ( non turbo!) I love the 50+mpg!!!

13" speedlines! bloody hell, where did you get those from!

 

Had em since 1994! Very difficult to get decent tyres these days in 13" except Yoko A048R's and Kumho V70A's. They are quite grippy see photo from Harewood Hillclimb a couple of weeks ago.

its true the euro 205 rallye is a great car like the AX sport and basically came ready to compete. in 1988-89 the 205s were at peak.

 

I like to think when the UK rallye came out as a final farewell to the great achievement the peugeot 205 had in the rally scene and no need to prove anymore as long as it looked the part. in 93 i think peugeot had there mind focussed on the 106 and looking to offload stock.

 

i just like having rallye on my V5 and great base to basically turn it into a euro handling power wise.

Agree with that Burr, never thought about it like that! Having Rallye on the V5 is rather nice!

And my V5 just says 205 base! But the chassis number confirms it as a lhd205 Rallye as does the original invoice
