Uk 205 Rallyes, How Many Are Left!?

Recommended Posts

Wibble

I've got a Yellow one and a white one, both road legal but the white one is the only daily driver. Currently awaiting the application of the Rallye stickers as the old ones were faded and fooked!

The yellow one is awaiting the refurbed original steelies to be put back on and then will be photographed and offered for sale to a select few.

I'm waiting for my disc to unslip itself in my back.....

I'm afraid its true, other than some stickers its just a normal boggo 205.

Its what you do with them that counts.

I agree with jonhygoodhand they are great platforms to make something special as, lets be honest, they are rather rare.

A guy at work had a white one but he scrapped it as he moved onto an Escort RS turbo, I would have had it if given the chance :D

To be honest theres nothing that sets them apart.

This started its life as a 1.0 XE

I like the look of them but it doesnt really matter if its a real rallye or not, its just some stickers.

suppose the same can be said with the GTI then just add GTI arch n door trim, bumpers and wheels and from the naked eye its a GTI

Not quite, the gti arches are quite different - hardly just stickers :P

Ahemm, my 'rallye' The first one was genuine but I re-shelled it into a 1.0 shell second time.

Yes it's a real lhd euro rallye and the wheels are 13" works Speedlines. I've got plenty of white steelies but it looks much better with the Speedlines!

I fitted GTI arches and rear bumper to my old XS and every one thought it was a GTI even the police. so they do fit just need triming down on the lipp that fits under the GTI arches.

Also when i bought my rallye it had gti trims fitted(not genuine) but got ripped off the day i got it.

Dont know about any one else but im a lover of all 205s
