Blue/ White Smoke Need Help!

Recommended Posts

Guest kerry_63

the car is smoking blue/ white smoke from cold start and gets worse the hotter it gets ive been told its oil so oil stem seals but the smoke smells more like fuel than oil or water , the car has done 71k its an 88 model would the fact that the fuel has been sitting in the tank for almost 2yr be the cause or not? regards kerry

Check the condition of the oil, if it is piss thin and stinks of petrol then there is a problem with the injection system and it has been overfuelling badly which has washed the bores and diluted the engine oil till it is piss thin.

If this is the case all is not lost, sort the overfuelling and change the oil and all will be well.
