How Much Is A Standard Mi16 It Worth?

Ive got to sell my spare engine as im moving home.

 

Its a standard alloy block with no manifolds or anything and its got a knackered big end.

 

Will I get any cash for it or is it best just to give it away?

it's probably worth more in bits.

 

Depending on milage and rebuild history a hundred would be a reasonable asking price as a rebuild job.

I've seen cranks go for that much in useable condition, and the rest of the parts will be worth a few quid too.

As for rebuild the head was supposidly rebuilt just before I got it a few years ago althought the head gasket did go on it and that was sorted properly by miles at the time. I kinda feel I should be selling it back to him for all his help in the past but i'm sure he'll understand if he's pipped on this basis.

 

Is that ok by you miles?
