Bucket Seat And Standard Seat Belts

Hi,

 

just wanted to know if I can use the standard seat belt with bucket seat,

 

my car doesn't go on the track so harnesses aren't required, and I've been told they have to be replaced every so often, is this true? (harnesses)

Bucket seats and harnesses in my opinion really have to go hand-in-hand.

 

They don't need replacing unless you're doing International or National A events.

and hand-in-hand with a rollcage too!

 

Depends how much you value your life, it's genuinely worse to be in fixed buckets and harnesses in an accident if you have no cage.

I've been running my 205 with fixed position bucket seats & standard seatbelts (albeit with the addition of a CG lock) for the last few years & think its great.

I dislike driving most cars long distances now without a CG lock which I also have on my daily drive 306 hdi.
