Double Din Head Unit Into A 205 Dash?

Anyone out there fitted a double din head unit to their 205? Took my car to my installer today and looks like it's going to be a bit tricky fitting my new Alpine double din stereo without some major dashboard work.

 

Was wondering anyone out there done this already and come up with some elegant solutions?

 

Pics would be greatly appreciated.

Had a double din DVD / tv/ cde etc. etc. etc in my CTi and it was major surgery - even requiring the top of the storage compartment lid in the console being trimmed down - and that still wouldn't open all the way afterwards and the console itself needed trimming,too . But it all went in neatly enough, obviously looked good enough for some scrote to steal quite quickly so no pics.
