Miles/Pugracing or Dan Taylor/Drive Engineering.

Lots of other members may also offer the service

Personally I think you're better off with someone from here rather than a garage. The fees will be high and the required passion not there with most garages.

It wasn't necessary to say you have a 205 GTI quite like that; it wasn't right to have guessed because you didn't say.

Why can't you do it? There's loads of info and assistance on here, or do you not have time, space or tools?

Costs are likely to be over £400.

Is it a 406 NASP engine? And what management/Ecu/Loom etc do you plan to run it with?

If its the N/A engine it's quite an easy conversion, just like a gti6 but I think I read no issues with the exhaust clearance.

A little extra weight but a decent management sytem so nice to drive, easily upgradable to gti6/mi16 power levels.

Sorry wasn't being sarcastic

I dont have garage facilities or tbh the know how to do it

I bought a 205 gti which my son has stripped out and fitted a role cage ready for track days it just needs an engine

The 2l is normally aspirated and came with ALL the wiring attached

The idea is once its going by son maintains and runs it

A garage I doubt very much would be able to do anything like this as it's not quite as simple as pluging it in unless you take the cowboy route,

Really it needs removing and the wires re-routing and a fair few removed in the process, I guess the ECU is unlocked? if not this add's £100 ish to unlock one
