Looks fantastic! The original was and still is one of the best looking cars ever made I think, and the new one keeps true to it in many ways.

Wholeheartedly agree, the original still looks utterly stunning today and I love the new one! Running gear from the 430 Scuderia as well.... drool....

I'm no Fiat fan but I have to admit it is excellent in the looks department, the only bit I'm not sure on is the front lights but I'm sure they would grow on me.

The Delta integrale - then 20 years of nothingless in the automobile industry - then THIS.

Only wish there were manufacturers out there still making cars like this... ( and a bit cheaper ) - but still, what a DREAM CAR !

Oh my God would I like to shread a set of tires on that!

My dream car ever since seeing them in Alitalia colours on the RAC in the late 70's. I was only 4 when I saw them at Harewood and still remember them as Waldegaards Stratos lost its back end.

However, that new one doesn't make the same signature bark that the original 2.4 Ferrari V6 did which is 50% of its appeal. Also the new one would not be used for rallying, which was the whole purpose of the original.

But if I was uber-rich, and had capitalised on owning the name after Fiat let the brand lapse (doh!!) then I would probably make one. I don't think Ferrari do a V6 anymore :P

Wow - they have modernised the looks of it perfectly but it's still a Stratos :(

Looks absolutely fantastic, stance etc apart from the headlights which look mongy and spoil what could have been a perfect looking car.

That pretty much sums it up for me too. The lights are distinctive.....but not in a good way.

I actually quite like the lights. They're distinctive and angular and fit in with the rest of the car's lines really well I think. I also like teh wheels, they're not gone overboard on styling the wheels as a lot of companies seem to be doing, with the end result just being that they look complicated.

Love it, but agree it should have a V6 to follow footsteps!

Are you actually not allowed to fit pop-up lights, or is it that most manufacturers choose not to as the pedestrian safety ratings would be crap?

I just don't think they're legal now due to the pedestrian safety laws, everything has to be lower and smoother.

Is it a crime that when looking at the photo, I was only noticing the S-shaped blocks on that driveway (as used on Esso forecourts for the last 30 years).

Massively underwhelming looks IMHO, although suspect nobody will agree with me.
