Gear Box Bung

Is there any other way to fill up the gearbox (1.9 gti) other than by the bung on the front of the gearbox as mine has been done up so tight i cannot for the love of god undo it !!!!!!

Through the level hole on the side of the gearbox (undo the 19mm headed bolt)

spent half the day rolling around on the floor trying to undo the blasted thing .... it wouldnt even undo with a 3 foot breaker bar so god knows who done it up????

 

I will see if i can undo that one tomorrow,

Basically, there's two ways to fill it - through the level plug on the side (mentioned above) or through the filler/breather (BE3) / reverse-lockout (BE1) hole on the top of the box.
