Water Pump

Hi guys,

 

Well the water pump went the other day. Been looking around for a replacement, and i have found a pug 205 gti 1.9 in a breakers. Now i have a 1.6 and i need to know if the water pump from the 1.9 will fit in my 1.6?

Buy a new one, they are only about £20 compared to spending hours removing a second hand one only to find it is shagged as well. Total false economy to fit a used one.

I've seen a few on ebay but i need one today, so i can get the car on the road. Or if i go to the dealers ill end up bending over while they service me as well. So I need it back on the road quick as lol. I will buy a new one in a few miles but just need it replacing at the moment.

 

Plus the breakers have taken it out already and only want a £10 for it

I'm suprised you can't get one today from a motorfactors.

Some places i've rang up don't have one, or looking at £50 for it.

1.6 and 1.9 pumps are the same.
