Wheel Cylinder Question

Recommended Posts

floodys

Quick question, I've got a 4 wheel car trailer that's got mini brakes on it, you know the square type adjuster that you use to move shoes in and out? Well, they were well tight and seized! I've now welded a nut onto square bit and can move it! Prob is now with nut the back plate fouls the arm, I'm just wondering that if I move backplate round so I can get onto nut the wheel cylinder won't be straight down but to the side, so, dos it make any odds if the wheel cylinder is say at say 90 deg's? Bear in mind trailer wont be used loads! Cheers
