It Only Went And Passed The Mot

;):D :D :D :D :D :D

After an engine change, suspension rebuild, new brakes all round and a year off the road, I threw the last few parts at the 205 today, wiped the moss of the windscreen and took it for the MOT.

Not only did it pass, but after replacing a tail light bulb (why do they always blow on the way to the test centre?) it passed with no advisories!

All i need now is to sort the suspected bent stub axle, find the cause of the low compression on cylinder 1 of my recently rebuilt engine, regas the aircon, and tidy up cosmetically! It's going to be my daily driver for a few months so wish me luck.

Nothing like owing a 205 to keep you on your toes is there?

Nice one Brian.

Good luck with the low compression on #1 cylinder, mine started to suffer low comp on #3 after a run to the ring in May & I'm currently building an engine for mine around various other things.

Graham.
