Cv Joint?

in process of changing all the CV boots N/S shaft all ok but the O/S does not have the spring and thrust cap fitted inside the inner joint like the N/S does.

should the O/S also have a spring and thrust cap?

 

 

it also turns out the O/S inner boot metal sleeve is larger in the new kit than mine was so must be for 1.9 shafts,if anyone wants the boot kit for £2 postage cost then let me know.
