Please Help Me Find What I'm After

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm after one of those things that looks a bit like a garden hose connector (suppose you could call it a fancy gromit) that wiring passes through from the engine bay to the cabin. This really is the only way I can describe it, sorry.

Any ideas please?

I'm in the same boat, busy cutting off the old and then fitting one from VWP one to the bulkhead

Here is how I did my turbo car. Ally plate that bolts over the large hole where the standard loom goes thru. Means that my loom can be pulled through from inside the car to the outside should I wish to remove it.

These 'grommet' things are also known as 'glands', although they are slightly different things.

Maplin also sell them.

I used a large multi gromment off a Volvo truck. I might have a spare knocking about if you are interested?

^^^

That's what I believe is known as a 'gland', whereas the Volvo sourced item in the previous pic is what I would call a gommet.
