Oil Cooler Leaking

Hi all

 

Discovered today that my oil cooler is spewing out oil all over the place. Now I have a spare cooler, but to remove that from the car it was on was pretty much impossible and I ended up bending the pipes. In the end I cut the pipes so have the oil cooler detached.

 

However im now worried im gonna do exactly the same thing when tying to undo the nuts at the top of the cooler on my car. Ive had a quick go and neither want to budge.

 

Any ideas where i'd get another set of pipes from, or suggestions for alternative solutions welcome

what engine is it do you need the cooler

Use the car just for everyday use so probably dont need the it currently, but as car does run warm when around town/in traffic id quite like to keep it
