before i pull it apart just wanted check is it just a case of ziping one off and putting new one on? as i know there a keyway

yup thats all there is to it, mae sure you threadlock the bolt and tighten it to the correct torque setting, earlier gti6 engines rely on the clamping load of the bolt to secure the oil pump sprocket to the crank (i.e it is not keyed)

by tighten up to correct torque you mean do it up tight with an impact gun(battery) yes? ;) as thats what il use to undo and redo it up. :)

no, torque wrench :)

 

likely to be tighter than most battery impact wrenches.

dont worry i never use them to do final tightening. first i use my fingers :( then if a twisty gun handy use that tent finnish with a bar :(
