Cracked Chassis

Recommended Posts

engine killer

After a few years of thrashing, the chassis seems cracked badly along the bottom of the B posts and making a lot of creaking noise while in motion (a small crack gap about 1mm along there). Having it welded to strengthen and respray now, anything else I should do in the same time while it is with the welder?

thanks for any advice or comment in advance.

I have the floor lowered a few years ago and it is still fine. Thanks for reminding.

By the way, is Wurth a good anti rust product? The welder says he will use Wurth product (the one with a small flex tube which can go into the side tunnels) for both inside and outside anti rust treatment.

thanks
