Possible Coil Problem Re. Brake Hose Mount

Fitted some Gaz coilovers tonight but before doing so put the old shocks next to the old ones to compare. On the B4's the flexi clip/holder/mount, what ever it's called is nearly in line with the Drop link mount, on the Gaz's it's alot further around the shaft, is this normal?

It's not the best picture to be honest but they are in different positions. It wouldn't worry me normally but I heard there are issues when fitting 306 shocks to 205 due to this said bracket, not sure what issues but just wanted to make sure I haven't got 306 coilovers.

When I was supplied with an incorrect shock (not gaz) the difference was was very noticable so I think they should be fine
