Gti 6 Calipers And Discs

hi all i have fitted a set of 106 gti brakes to my 205 rallye

I have just been offered gti 6 calipers and discs for 30 buck

would these brakes still sit under my 106 s2 rallye steel wheels

os should i just stick with the 106 brakes

You need 15" wheels to clear GTi-6 brakes, so they won't fit under your 14" Rallye steelies.

 

That said, for £30 it would be worth buying them and just sticking them straight on eBay where they usually sell for £80-100 minimum.

What size are the 106 S2 Rallye wheels? I've got the GTi6 brakes on my 205 with standard 1.9 GTi 15 inch wheels and the calipers only just fit under the wheel.

 

EDIT: just spotted Anthony's post as we posted at the same time. As he said, yours are 14" wheels and thus the GTi6 calipers won't fit.

Want to keep the 14" steels so think ill just buy them then sell em on.

The 106 brakes with yellow stuff pads and groved discs seem good enough.

Soon see tho once my new engine is built.
