Earth Blocks Behind Lights

Got a slight flickering of lights when the revs drop to tickover, did a search and people seem to think alternator? or check earth blocks behind lights what am i checking for just security of a number of earthed wires?

every electrical connection in the engine bay of a 205 is a peace of crap.. they're all un-sealed connections so they all start giving you trouble..

 

try cleaning the earths out..

What I normally do with the earth blocks behind the headlights is take the off and put eye terminals on the wires instead and bolt them in the same place,you are sure of having a good earth then.

You can test the alternator, (I suspect this is the problem) either by watching all your main lights flicker up and down at idle like a crap christmas tree or meter the voltage across the battery.

Generally re-terminating the headlamp 'earth blocks' makes the lights more reliable and also brighter...not to mention washers, indicators and horn.
