Name The Bracket

I've had a random noise from the gearbox on my 8v for a few weeks now, finally got round to having a look at it and can't find anything other than this random bracket.

 

I did hit something on the road a few weeks back, which could have flicked it up which would be random but as I couldn't find anything on the road I've no idea what I hit.

 

It looks to me like an AFM bracket, but I don't have it fitted as I've got the K&N behind the headlight.

 

Any clues?

Looks like the bracket that secures the AFM to the battery tray when you've fitted an induction kit - comes with K&N kits, and possibly others.

Weird, I can't remember the AFM having a bracket on it.

 

At least the dodgy rattle has gone now

With that bracket retrieved, when replacing the fuse for the rev counter it doesn't immediately blow again.
