Fuel Surge Question

Recommended Posts

colti

Just occured to me whilst fitting a swirl pot system that i may be sorting my surge issues and therfore preventing the motor running weak, but will i expect to suffer a fried lift pump by running dry to often?

Has this been an issue for anyone??

Am tracking a 200brake Xu10J3TE.

I use a baffel tank with an in line fuel pump on my rally car. The pick up pipe goes to the bottom of the tank and as long as there is fuel it will not run dry. The tank is an alloy one which came out of a race 205 and is half the size of a standard one.
