1.9gti Hub Carriers Dilema

Evening guys

 

Got a bit of a dilema, my hub carriers on my 205 1.9GTI need replacing urgently because the thread that the studs go into is shot and quite frankly i dont trust it. Should i put out a request for a used part which obviously i wont know the history of or do i go to some where like Auto Five or another motor factor to get an original part. I am not particulary in favour of patented parts.

 

Any advice is appreciated.

Are 205 hubs available new anymore?

you can just change the drive flange, its used on most psa vehicles with a BE or ML gearbox, and many MA vehicles with ABS
