Mi16 Main/big End Prices

It's been a while since I've re-built any Mi engines but I'm doing one at the moment that's had to have a crank grind and rod due to the dreaded surge and I've just priced .3 mains and b/end and they want £58 and £45 which I think sounds too much.

Anyone bought an recently and how much did you pay?

Not recently, but a couple of years ago standard big ends were £48 from Peugeot.

sounds about right, theyre much more expensive for the gti6 lump, if you want cheap big ends the 16v xsi engine costs a lot less, or at least the standard big ends are £25 a set for them.

Ok I'll get them bought, its just I bought some BMW 45mm b/end shells for a GTI6 engine from the same place the other day that Longman quoted me £83 for and I got the for just over £20 so I expected to pay a similar amount.

I have just last week bought some .3 mains,big end brngs and thrusts and cost me £85 from my mate in an engine shop
