Sorry, Pug 206 Question!

M3Evo

A guy at work has a 206, which just the other day developed some strange fault.

It started off where turning the indicator on made the hazard lights flash.

This somehow got worse over the course of it being parked at work and now, the minute the key is turned, the hazards come on.

Any ideas chaps?

Cheers! :D

It should be a newer 206, right? About 2002 or something.

Ususally the part for indicators, light etc is broken itself. In germany the part is called "Com2000"

You might be able to find more info about it on 206info.co.uk. Was very helpfull for finding information about problems when I had my 206.

More than likely the com2000, if it is 2001>. Very common thing in them for failing with indicator, airbag wiper light faults etc. Normally £150+. I know there are a few different models of them so they vary, just use chassi number to get the right one. I think you can now get aftermarket ones too, abit cheaper possibly?

If an earlier car, I've had faults with the indicator stalk before causing similar issues.
