Lock Dilemma

Recommended Posts

MerlinGTI

My drivers door lock is completely knackered! Key gets stuck and won't turn, I'm guessing the tumblers are shot.

Peugeot can't supply a barrel sweeted to the original key as they no longer have the key numbers on file.

I do however have 2 brand new locks. I would like these retumbled so they work off the original keys.

Problem being the only place I know of in the SE are complete cowboys. Cut a key for me wrong, and did a mates Peugeot lock for him but any similar key worked in it!

I'm going to have a good old fashion google sesh in a minute, but does anyone know a good place in the Se Kent/London area or online would be great.

Mis-matched keys are not an option

Cheers

knackered lock barrels dont happen very often, they can get a bit sticky though and I have freed off many with a liberal dousing in wd40/gt85 etc.

also worn out c/l solenoids can make it seem like the lock is stuck, I thought the same on my 205's boot till I investigated and found a seized solenoid.
