Anyone Put One In A 205?

hi guys just wondered really as have heard alot of people doing the 8v turbo conversions with he 406 engine but haven't heard of people using the 605 svti 2.0 16v turbo'd engines only raising the subject as always wanted to do a t16 205/309 but with the lumps and bit as rare as rocking horse sh*t wondered why i haven't heard of this engine being used before

The 605's came with an 8v turbo engine afaik.

You haven't heard of it because the engine doesn't exist.

ah ok think i read it wrong did wonder why. are the blocks and heads from the 8v turbo's that much different to the 16v's then as not heard of any hybrids like the gti6 head being put on the mi block etc, assume all the water/oil ways are different?

All xu heads fit all xu blocks afaik, Cameron has an Mi block with a gti6 head.

If you want to be pushing big numbers to require 16v over 8v then you are going to have to uprate the 8v bottom end.
