Mintex 1144 Pads & Buying - Does Lucas Or Bendix Matter?

I couldn't find anything in the forum that discussed this but I'm about to buy some 1144s for my 1.9 (1990) and while browsing I notice that some places (such as the Mintex website) make a distinction between Lucas or Bendix calipers, but the retailers don't make this distinction. e.g. http://www.peterlloydrallying.co.uk/index....roducts_id=1336

 

do I need to worry about this?

p.s. as a confusing twist to this question, I don't actually have my car near me (it is in NZ but I'm in London...so I can't go have a look at chassis number/bits), but it is 1990 phase2 version. how would I be sure which caliper it has? the car was originally a UK-model that was then taken to NZ.

Should have the Girling calipers as per UK 1.9 cars. But I know the Australasian 205s have a slightly different spec.

 

Do the calipers on your car have a retaining slider/pin? If so they're Bendix as found on the 1.6.
