Bike Carbs?

i found a 1.9 gti with (head skimed alot)incressed compression (tested) flowed head, Kent 290 high lift cams, fule pressure regulator air filter, some other mods been very well looked after by a mate of mine (swaping it for his mi16turbo build)

 

wanted to know how much hourse should i expect to get out of it and i have seen bike carbs fitted to some 205 gti are they any good or should i keep an eye out for some webbers instead
