Standard Gti Cam

Must be on this forum somewhere but cant find it but what is the timing and lift for a standard GTI cam

 

Trying to find if my standard cam is worn, seems a bit down on power and a bit noisy from the top of the engine

 

If it is worn suggestions for replacement cam?

I take it you've taken the rocker cover off and had a look?? Is it a 1.6 or 1.9?? the earlier 1.6 cam with the chamfered edges were prone to wear very badly, but the later post 1990 and 1.9 cams are generally ok if its been looked after with regular oil changes, may just be a case the head needs rebuilding and re-shimming, job done.
